Job Description

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification, meeting state requirements
  • Direct experience supporting speech-language therapy in school settings preferred
  • Ability to implement therapy plans created by supervising SLP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
  • Organizational proficiency and dependability in keeping accurate records and progress notes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students individually or in small groups with activities to develop speech, language, and communication skills
  • Follow directives and therapy plans as outlined by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist in preparing therapy materials and adapting classroom activities to support student needs
  • Document student progress and communicate effectively with the SLP and educational team
  • Participate in meetings and professional development sessions as needed
