What youll bring:

• Valid Connecticut SLPA license, or qualifying educational background/experience
• Experience or training supporting speech-language services in a school environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners in a positive, inclusive environment

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Assist the SLP in providing direct and indirect speech-language services to students across grades K-12
• Carry out activities and exercises as planned by supervising SLP
• Document student progress and report observations to the SLP or IEP team
• Support students individually or in small groups, adapting to a range of learning and communication needs
• Help maintain organized therapy materials and documentation
• Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times
