Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant during the Extended School Year (ESY) summer program. Key Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLPA license or equivalent education/experience
- Experience or strong interest in supporting speech-language services in a school environment
- Comfortable working with students across K-12 grades
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation effectively
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementing speech-language therapy plans designed by supervising SLPs
- Work with children in both individual and small group settings to help further their communication skills
- Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions
- Collect data on student progress and update records as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and district protocols
