Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Missouri SLPA licensure required
- Experience supporting students in K-12 settings or working in pediatric environments preferred
- Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and contribute positively to the school community
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based therapeutic practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Provide direct speech-language services to students, documenting progress toward goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student development
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere in all interactions
