An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant looking to make a positive impact in a supportive educational setting for the 20262027 academic year. This full-time, contract position is ideal for an individual seeking to work closely with students and contribute to their communication development within a dynamic school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in Missouri (SLPA MO Licensure required)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Familiarity with both educational and healthcare aspects of SLPA responsibilities
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality support for students speech and language goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support assessment and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist with data collection and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
- Participate actively in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and regulatory requirements
