Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant and make a significant impact supporting students from TK through 8th grade. This full-time onsite position is designed for professionals dedicated to fostering communication skills and enhancing educational access for young learners.

Your role will involve collaborating closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and education staff to provide direct support to students. Utilize your expertise to implement therapy plans, conduct group and individual sessions, and help build confident communicators in a vibrant school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current California SLPA license required
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those in grades TK-8
  • Familiarity with implementing therapy goals and documenting student progress
  • Strong communication skills, both with students and fellow staff
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in an educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services under the direction of a licensed SLP
  • Assist in creating and executing individualized therapy activities
  • Monitor and document student progress toward established goals
  • Engage with teachers and support staff to maximize student participation and outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with school protocols and relevant regulations
