Job Description

Providing support to children in kindergarten through fifth grade, this role focuses on delivering speech-language pathology assistance within a public K-12 school setting. The position requires working full-time onsite in Theodore, AL, from March 2025 through May 22, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support speech-language pathologists by working directly with K-5 students to implement therapy plans
  • Assist in maintaining caseload documentation and progress notes in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards
  • Collaborate with school staff to facilitate speech and language development goals
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions related to speech-language services

Qualifications:

  • Registered Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential with the Board of Speech Examiners
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably with K-5 students
