This full-time onsite position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of K-12 learners. You'll collaborate closely with educators and speech-language pathologists to provide high-quality speech and language services that shape brighter futures.
What we're seeking:
- Valid TX Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license
- Experience in school settings or working with K-12 populations preferred
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to varied age groups and learning needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative spirit and dedication to student progress
- Commitment to adhering to ethical, professional, and legal standards
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech and language interventions to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collecting and documenting data on student progress toward communication goals
- Supporting SLPs in developing therapy activities and materials
- Assisting with screenings, assessments, and reporting under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Communicating effectively with teachers, families, and other staff members
- Participating in team meetings to ensure comprehensive support for each student
