Job Description

Exciting opportunities await for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants seeking a contract assignment in the vibrant Phoenix/Tempe area. In this role, youll work with students from PreK through 8th grade, collaborating with a dedicated team to support their communication and developmental needs. This is a full-time position offering between 37.5 and 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language support services to students as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students across various age groups and needs
  • Engage students in activities that develop language, articulation, and communication skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and families

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona SLPA license
  • Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Previous experience working in school or healthcare settings, specifically as an SLPA
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse caseload of students
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
