Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or certification in Washington State
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred
  • Familiarity with implementing speech and language intervention plans under the supervision of an SLP
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing student needs and educational environments
  • Commitment to maintaining detailed documentation and adhering to state and federal regulations

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing direct speech and language therapy to students, under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Supporting the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and helping students reach their communication objectives
  • Preparing engaging materials and activities to facilitate student success
  • Assisting in the assessment and progress monitoring of students speech and language abilities
  • Collaborating closely with SLPs, teachers, and school staff to support students across a range of abilities
  • Maintaining accurate records of student performance and therapy sessions
