Step into a rewarding contract position providing support as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Work with students from Pre-K through 8th grade at a single school site near Sunnyvale, CA, helping them reach their communication and academic milestones. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are especially encouraged to apply for this impactful role.
What You'll Bring:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience, training, or internship work in a school-based setting
- Skill and comfort working with students aged Pre-K through middle school
- Strong interpersonal abilities for collaboration with therapists, teachers, and families
- Preferred: Bilingual fluency in Spanish to best serve our diverse student population
- Organization and flexibility to adapt strategies for individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services as prescribed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
- Support speech, articulation, language, and communication goals under professional guidance
- Prepare and adapt materials and activities for various age and ability levels
- Document session notes accurately and maintain data on student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom
- Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings as required
