Required Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification in the state
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school environment
- Understanding of speech and language development and related disorders
- Proficiency in implementing therapy plans developed by a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in treatment plans
- Support Speech-Language Pathologists by preparing materials and documenting student progress
- Monitor and track student responses to interventions, adjusting activities as directed
- Participate in team meetings regarding student progress and collaborate with classroom staff
- Educate and engage with caregivers and teachers to reinforce strategies and maximize student success
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in all aspects of service provision
