Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLPA license required
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Proficiency in implementing speech therapy activities under supervision
  • Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
  • Organized, flexible, and able to work across multiple caseloads or sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct treatment services onsite under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist in developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans for students
  • Document student progress and maintain detailed therapy records
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other school team members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support overall communication goals for students
  • Adapt and modify therapy materials as needed to best support student needs
