Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLPA license required
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Proficiency in implementing speech therapy activities under supervision
- Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
- Organized, flexible, and able to work across multiple caseloads or sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct treatment services onsite under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist in developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans for students
- Document student progress and maintain detailed therapy records
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other school team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and support overall communication goals for students
- Adapt and modify therapy materials as needed to best support student needs
