Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based contract position supporting students from PreK through 8th grade in an engaging educational environment. As an onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you'll work closely with students and staff to help develop and implement effective speech and language strategies. This full-time contract opportunity spans the school year from September 14, 2026, to May 26, 2027, and offers a vibrant and supportive setting in which every day brings new opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona SLPA license is required
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Card must be presented
  • Previous experience in a school-based role preferred
  • Ability to work onsite for all scheduled hours
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services to a diverse student population within PreK8th grade
  • Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in planning and carrying out individualized education programs
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school team discussions as requested
  • Adapt quickly and contribute positively to a dynamic caseload
