This contract position involves working directly with preschool and kindergarten students, providing essential speech and language support services to enhance their communication skills and overall development.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential or certification
• Experience working within school environments preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and therapists

Position Details:

• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
• Caseload comprised primarily of early childhood (prek and kindergarten) students
• Responsibilities include assisting licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services, conducting screenings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting student progress
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Collect data and monitor student progress
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers and staff
• Assist with screenings and evaluations as needed
