Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid TX SLPA license required
- Experience providing speech and language support in educational settings, preferably K-12
- Ability to collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Passion for working with children with diverse needs and backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students as directed by supervising SLP
- Implement and document individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Support students with communication challenges in both classroom and individual settings
- Assist in administering assessments and collecting data on student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student growth
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
