Qualifications/Experience:
- Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field; bachelors preferred
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
- Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or educational environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Ability to follow treatment plans and implement therapy techniques as directed by supervising SLP
- Flexibility, positivity, and a collaborative spirit
- Familiarity with IEPs and school-based therapy documentation a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student growth
- Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet individual student needs
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
