Job Description

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field; bachelors preferred
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
  • Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or educational environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and implement therapy techniques as directed by supervising SLP
  • Flexibility, positivity, and a collaborative spirit
  • Familiarity with IEPs and school-based therapy documentation a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Support development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student growth
  • Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet individual student needs
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
