Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Solid understanding of communication, speech, and language development
- Effective teamwork, organization, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement treatment goals
- Assist with speech and language screenings, assessments, and progress documentation
- Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities for diverse student needs
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with teachers and other staff
- Communicate progress and concerns to supervising therapists and families as needed
