Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid SLPA license or certification required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet students individual needs
• Comfortable working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Proficiency in written documentation and willingness to track student progress
• Flexible, positive, and driven to foster student growth

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as directed
• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under the supervision of an SLP
• Support students one-on-one or in small groups to improve speech, voice, language, and fluency
• Gather and document data on students progress and responses to interventions
• Prepare therapy materials and maintain an organized workspace
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs within the classroom
• Participate in team meetings and training as requested
