Make an immediate impact supporting students by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to an educational setting near Sand Springs, OK. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or certification required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet students individual needs
- Comfortable working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Proficiency in written documentation and willingness to track student progress
- Flexible, positive, and driven to foster student growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as directed
- Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under the supervision of an SLP
- Support students one-on-one or in small groups to improve speech, voice, language, and fluency
- Gather and document data on students progress and responses to interventions
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain an organized workspace
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs within the classroom
- Participate in team meetings and training as requested
