Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school setting located in Sacramento, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with certified speech-language pathologists and contribute to the communication development of children in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Support students in speech therapy sessions under supervision
  • Prepare materials and document student progress accurately
  • Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and therapists
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning of speech therapy activities

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited SLPA program
  • Valid SLPA credential/license as required by the state of California
  • Experience working with children in a school environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directives and maintain confidentiality
