A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available at a school in Redding, CA, on a contract basis. This role supports licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech therapy services to students, assisting with assessments, therapy sessions, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Support students during therapy sessions to improve communication skills.
- Prepare and maintain therapy materials and documentation.
- Monitor and report student progress.
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to support student communication needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification or licensure.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and youth.
- Familiarity with speech therapy techniques and education-based interventions.
