As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll help foster communication growth and academic success for children and adolescents, working on-site throughout the academic year. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid registration with the North Carolina speech board, or eligibility for full/temporary SLPA registration
- Prior experience delivering therapy and documenting services in a school setting
- Proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office for efficient communication and documentation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs across age groups (specific caseload details to be determined after hire)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress, attendance, and communications with staff and families
- Collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and educational teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to student care
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and other school-based activities as required
- Monitor and support generalization of communication skills within educational settings
