Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. Taking place in a vibrant school community near Raeford, NC, this full-time position involves working onsite from August 13, 2026, to May 27, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours each week.
This role includes providing speech and language support services to students across a variety of school settingselementary, middle, and high schoolsoffering engaging, diverse interactions with learners at different stages of development. This dynamic caseload lets you make a significant impact while expanding your experience in multiple school environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license (required)
- Experience assisting in school-based speech therapy settings strongly preferred
- Comfort working across different age groups and adapting strategies accordingly
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to travel across assigned sites within the district
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy under SLP supervision, following IEP guidelines
- Support and reinforce therapy techniques tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with SLPs, educators, and families to monitor and document student progress
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain organized, timely records
- Participate in school team meetings to support comprehensive student care
