Ideal Qualifications:
- Associates degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Valid SLPA licensure or certification
- Previous experience working with children or within a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to follow educational plans, document progress, and implement therapy under a Speech-Language Pathologists supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions with students, following plans developed by an SLP
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and maintenance of records and documentation
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to support teams
- Prepare and organize session materials to foster engagement
- Work alongside teachers, parents, and staff to provide consistent support
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture focused on student growth
