Key Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Current SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state
- Familiarity with school-aged children and educational settings
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and a team-oriented attitude
Role Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of speech and language therapy as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Work directly with students to reinforce speech, language, and communication skills using established plans
- Document student progress and prepare materials for therapy sessions
- Assist with screening and data collection as required
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies and professional standards
- Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
