The role encompasses working full-time during regular school hours, directly supporting students across various grade levels. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Texas SLP License required
- Experience working with K-12 school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player mindset and eagerness to collaborate with educators and families
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to adapt to student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Aid in conducting screenings and assessments as directed
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families to support student goals
- Participate in school team meetings as needed
