Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication growth in a dynamic school setting. As an SLPA, youll play a key part in a collaborative model, working with a Tele SLP to deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Your role will be essential in helping diverse learners achieve their speech and language goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification in Pennsylvania
- Experience providing speech-language support within school environments
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working jointly with a supervising SLP
- Comfort managing a diverse caseload and adapting to multiple age groups
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate session notes and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language treatment to a caseload of approximately 41 students across three buildings, supporting both individual (16) and group (37) treatment sessions
- Follow treatment plans developed with the Tele SLP, modifying activities to suit student needs and goals
- Prepare materials and facilitate engaging sessions that encourage skill development and participation
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress and anecdotal records in accordance with district protocols
- Communicate effectively with educators, staff, and families to coordinate services and foster a positive learning environment
