Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent
• Active SLPA license or eligibility in the state
• Experience working with children or in school settings preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Compassion and patience with students of varying backgrounds and abilities
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP for individual students and small groups
• Assist in providing direct speech and language therapy services within the classroom or designated therapy area
• Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Adapt activities and materials to support varying learning and communication styles
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and school professionals to support student goals
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
