School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Position Type: Full-Time | 20262027 School Year
We are actively seeking a motivated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a school district in the Phoenix area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced SLPs while helping students strengthen their communication skills and classroom success.
What Youll Do:
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized treatment plans and support IEP goals
- Assist with therapy activities, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Help create engaging and supportive learning environments for students
What You Bring:
- Active Arizona SLPA license (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A positive, student-centered approach
