Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a supportive school environment near Peyton, CO. The assignment runs through May 27, 2027, and is open to both local and travel candidates.
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions to students under SLP supervision
- Carry out treatment plans and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain meticulous student records and document progress
- Take an active role in multidisciplinary meetings and administrative planning, with indirect hours paid
- Foster collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff to best meet student needs
Position Features:
- Consistent 37.5-hour workweek with paid administrative and meeting hours
- Serve students at 12 convenient school locationsno excessive travel between sites
- Receive on-site supervision and team support from certified Speech-Language Pathologists
- Streamlined interview process conducted virtually via Zoom
Desired Background:
- An active or pending Colorado SLPA license/credential
- Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or an SLPA program certificate
- Eligibility to complete required background checks and fingerprinting prior to the start date
- School-based experience is a plus, but candidates of any experience level are welcome
