A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available within an elementary school setting in Pearland, TX. This contract role offers a consistent schedule, providing services to young students in need of speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to elementary-aged children
- Conduct assessments and implement individualized treatment plans under supervision
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication development
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) certification in Texas
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a school environment
Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5 days per week
