Job Description

As part of a collaborative school setting, youll partner closely with Speech Language Pathologists and educational teams to help young learners reach their communication goals. This contract position is full-time, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours over five days each week.

What you bring:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in Texas
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers and families
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a caring approach to student needs

In this role, you will:

  • Work directly with elementary-aged students as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Implement therapy plans and document student progress
  • Assist in screenings and assessments
  • Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
  • Support teachers and families with strategies to encourage speech and language development
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
