Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as an SLPA in Washington State
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably in an educational or pediatric setting
- Solid understanding of articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Ability to follow therapy plans and document progress
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and therapists
- Flexibility and adaptability in a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language interventions developed by supervising SLPs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in group and individual formats
- Assist with evaluating student progress and documenting outcomes
- Prepare materials for therapy sessions and support classroom communication needs
- Participate in team meetings to share insights and coordinate care for assigned students
- Support students in developing communication strategies that enhance both learning and social engagement
