This full-time, on-site contract position is designed for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant who is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the Baltimore area. With a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, youll collaborate with experienced professionals and bring specialized speech and language support to diverse learners.
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Active Maryland (MD) Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Ability to present valid images of current licenses
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech-language pathology support is highly valued
- Willingness to complete a district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review in compliance with House Bill 486
- Comfort working collaboratively with both students and teaching staff
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support enrolled students with communication and language development needs under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement individualized intervention plans, document progress, and provide direct speech-language services as assigned
- Keep accurate records and track student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide clear, positive communication with families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
This contract role offers a structured school schedule running from September 2, 2026 through June 17, 2027. Assignments and caseload specifics will be determined upon placement, and prescreen interviews may be part of the process to ensure the right fit.
