Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time contract position in the Palo Alto area (Zip Code: 94301). This in-person role covers the complete 2026/2027 academic school year (August 10, 2026 June 4, 2027), with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).

This position is an excellent fit for a collaborative clinician looking for a stable, full-year school schedule within a supportive district that provides dedicated clinical supervision and an option for summer Extended School Year (ESY) programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, direct speech and language therapy interventions to an assigned K-12 student caseload across two school sites.

• Implement individualized treatment plans and document student progress under the direct oversight and guidance of a licensed SLP supervisor.

• Utilize local IEP management systems (Siras and AbleSpace) to maintain accurate compliance and data tracking.

• Collaborate regularly with supervising clinicians, classroom teachers, and multidisciplinary school teams to optimize student communication outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Communication Disorders.

• Active California (CA) SLPA Licensure.

• Prior experience working with school-aged children or within an educational setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with Siras or AbleSpace IEP systems is a plus, though strong general digital data tracking skills are essential.
