Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time contract position in the Palo Alto area (Zip Code: 94301). This in-person role covers the complete 2026/2027 academic school year (August 10, 2026 June 4, 2027), with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).
This position is an excellent fit for a collaborative clinician looking for a stable, full-year school schedule within a supportive district that provides dedicated clinical supervision and an option for summer Extended School Year (ESY) programming.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, direct speech and language therapy interventions to an assigned K-12 student caseload across two school sites.
Implement individualized treatment plans and document student progress under the direct oversight and guidance of a licensed SLP supervisor.
Utilize local IEP management systems (Siras and AbleSpace) to maintain accurate compliance and data tracking.
Collaborate regularly with supervising clinicians, classroom teachers, and multidisciplinary school teams to optimize student communication outcomes.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Communication Disorders.
Active California (CA) SLPA Licensure.
Prior experience working with school-aged children or within an educational setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Siras or AbleSpace IEP systems is a plus, though strong general digital data tracking skills are essential.
