Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. With the guidance of on-site Speech-Language Pathologists, you will help make a meaningful impact for the 2026-2027 school year starting August 10th and continuing through May 27th. This role is based on-site with full-time hours (35 per week) and will most likely be dedicated to one campus, though some itinerant travel may occur.
Your efforts will be geared toward some of the districts larger, more challenging caseloads, making a genuine difference in students progress and communication skills.
Key Qualifications:
- An active Florida Department of Health SLPA license is required
- Previous school-based experience as an SLPA is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability for dynamic caseloads
- Eagerness to collaborate with SLP supervisors and school teams
- Comfort working with K-12 age groups
- Candidates must be able to be on-site daily

Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and support services under SLP supervision
- Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals for students
- Maintain accurate data and documentation on student progress
- Assist with assessment and screening processes when needed
- Collaborate with educators and families to optimize student outcomes
- Travel between schools may be occasionally required
