Desired Skills & Experience:
- Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of child development and communication disorders
- Ability to follow treatment plans and document progress effectively
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Compassion, patience, and creativity when engaging with students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted therapeutic interventions as directed by licensed SLPs
- Support students in reaching their IEP communication goals
- Assist with data collection and analysis of student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to student needs
