Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associates degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
  • Prior experience in a school environment preferred
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and collect data on student performance
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Work under supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy sessions individually and in small groups
  • Assist with screening, documentation, and assessment activities as directed
  • Support students in achieving IEP goals by implementing engaging, evidence-based therapy techniques
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student needs and achievements
