Job Description

Located in Orange Park, FL, this contract opportunity seeks two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support K-12 students in a school setting. The role involves providing assistance under the supervision of certified speech-language pathologists to help students improve their communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in speech and language therapy sessions for K-12 students
  • Implementing therapy plans prescribed by the supervising speech-language pathologist
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress
  • Collaborating with educators and other school staff to support student needs
  • Maintaining compliance with school and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida SLPA license is required
  • Experience working with school-age children preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
