Make an impact working with students while advancing your career as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school-based, contract role. Collaborate closely with educators and Speech-Language Pathologists to support student communication needs and help them achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one in Washington State
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly valued
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
• Ability to work independently and as a supportive member of a team
• High level of organization and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy plans as directed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
• Conduct group and individual sessions to support students speech and language development
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare materials for therapy sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster a supportive educational environment
• Participate in meetings and professional development relevant to your role
• Assist in maintaining therapy materials and equipment
