Desired Qualifications:

• Valid California SLPA license required
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and collaborate with lead SLPs and educators
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
• Support students individual education plans (IEPs) and provide timely progress updates
• Help with assessments, data collection, and documentation as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support language and communication goals in and out of the classroom
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with school and state regulations
