Desired Qualifications:
- Valid California SLPA license required
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs and collaborate with lead SLPs and educators
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices in a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Support students individual education plans (IEPs) and provide timely progress updates
- Help with assessments, data collection, and documentation as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support language and communication goals in and out of the classroom
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with school and state regulations
