Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification in Oklahoma
- Experience supporting children and adolescents in a school or educational setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work alongside SLPs, teachers, and staff
- Ability to implement treatment plans, document student progress, and adjust activities as directed
- Capable of fostering an inclusive and encouraging environment for students with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out selected speech-language interventions and exercises designed by supervising SLP
- Assist in conducting screenings and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support generalization of skills in various settings
- Contribute to a team approach in addressing students communication goals
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent conferences as needed
