Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Texas SLPA license required
  • Previous experience in schools (K-12 setting) is highly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Positive attitude and a passion for student development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing direct and indirect speech-language services to students under supervision
  • Support implementation of therapy plans, activities, and interventions as directed by an SLP
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as appropriate
  • Help create a positive, supportive environment for students speech and language growth
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to meet student goals
