Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA license required
- Previous experience in schools (K-12 setting) is highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a passion for student development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing direct and indirect speech-language services to students under supervision
- Support implementation of therapy plans, activities, and interventions as directed by an SLP
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as appropriate
- Help create a positive, supportive environment for students speech and language growth
- Collaborate with educators and staff to meet student goals
