Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant at a school near New Braunfels, TX. With onsite engagement from August through June 2026, youll have the chance to work 37.5 hours each week in a dynamic educational setting, helping students of varying ages develop crucial communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a multidisciplinary team
  • Adaptability in supporting diverse student needs across grade levels

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist in implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students in accordance with school protocols
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation of student progress
  • Participate in school meetings, in-services, and professional development as needed
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
