A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2023-2026 school years in New Braunfels, TX. This full-time, onsite contract role offers an opportunity to work closely with K-12 students delivering speech and language support as part of a dedicated educational team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language assistance to students across grades K-12 under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to support students communication development.
- Monitor and document student progress according to district and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and clinical staff to ensure cohesive student support.
- Maintain compliance with TX SLPA licensing requirements and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license.
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 students is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical best practices.
Location: This role is based onsite in New Braunfels, Texas.
