Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, where your expertise supports students communication and learning. Openings are available for two full-time and one part-time SLPA, with positions beginning August 12, 2026, and running through May 28, 2027. The assignments focus on delivering impactful speech and language services in vibrant school communities. Full-time roles offer 37.5 hours per week, while the part-time position requires three days each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLPA license is required.
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with supervising SLPs and school staff.
- Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and age groups (elementary, middle, and high school).
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organization abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans developed by licensed Speech-Language Pathologists for students.
- Deliver direct and indirect intervention with students individually or in small groups.
- Track progress and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Coordinate with educators, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes.
- Provide support at one dedicated building per assignment, reducing daily travel.
Role Assignments:
- Two full-time SLPAs will serve kindergarten through eighth-grade students, with caseloads shared between elementary and middle school sites.
- The part-time role covers a split caseload between middle and high school.
