Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license in Virginia
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with K12 aged students
• Commitment to supporting individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) under SLP supervision
• Deliver direct therapy sessions to students, both one-on-one and in groups
• Collect and document data on student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Assist in adapting instructional materials and strategies to enhance learning
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning and progress discussions
