A contract opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Middleburg, FL. These roles require professionals holding a valid Florida SLPA license to assist with speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
Location: Middleburg, FL
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
Age Group: K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementing individualized speech and language therapy plans
- Support students in developing communication skills within the school environment
- Collect and document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and parents to enhance therapy outcomes
- Follow all applicable guidelines, policies, and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications:
- Florida SLPA license required
- Experience working with school-aged children in speech-language therapy preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow therapy plans and effectively support student needs
