Key Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license or eligibility to practice as an SLPA in Kansas
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably within a school environment
• Solid understanding of speech and language development, therapy techniques, and communication disorders
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, educators, and parents
• Ability to follow treatment plans and document student progress accurately
• Flexibility, reliability, and readiness to adapt to the needs of a dynamic school environment

Responsibilities:

• Support speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy and educational interventions
• Work directly with students one-on-one or in small groups under professional supervision
• Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
• Monitor, record, and report student progress as required
• Prepare therapy materials, schedule sessions, and maintain an organized therapy space
• Communicate effectively with the educational team and families as needed to support student growth
