Exciting contract opportunities are available for two skilled professionals to support students as part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). The assignment runs from late August 2026 through June 2027, with student services beginning in early September. This engaging role involves working onsite across two locations, helping to empower students with communication challenges in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Minnesota SLPA license is required (pending licensure cannot be considered)
- Dual certification must be clearly shown on the submitted documentation
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Dependability and organization for managing time split between Northdale and Oakdale sites
- Optimism and flexibility for supporting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Follow established treatment plans and assist with implementing targeted interventions
- Support progress monitoring, documentation, and data collection requirements
- Collaborate closely with educators, SLP supervisors, and families
- Rotate between Northdale Middle School (0.7 FTE) and Oakdale (0.3 FTE) to meet caseload demands
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
