What Were Seeking:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Communications, Speech, or Communication Disorders
• Previous experience working within school-based settings is highly desirable
• Strong collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators and staff
• Adaptability to serve at multiple school sites as needed
• A positive, student-centered approach
• Please note: An SLPA license is not required or applicable for Virginia

Your Impactful Role:

• Provide direct speech-language support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored interventions
• Collect and record student progress data, contributing valuable insights to the educational team
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and therapy staff to support cohesive learning environments
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere for all learners
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and district guidelines
