What Were Seeking:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Communications, Speech, or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience working within school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators and staff
- Adaptability to serve at multiple school sites as needed
- A positive, student-centered approach
- Please note: An SLPA license is not required or applicable for Virginia
Your Impactful Role:
- Provide direct speech-language support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored interventions
- Collect and record student progress data, contributing valuable insights to the educational team
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and therapy staff to support cohesive learning environments
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere for all learners
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with school and district guidelines
